Hey Steve...I just wanted to let you know I feel the same way. I had an AWFUL day in the studio and feel overwhelmed with doing a painitng a day, commissioned work as well as my actual job (tattoo artist). So much to do! But I did wanted to let you know how much I love your portrait you just posted. Stunning. In one simple word...stunning.

I also took not of the color break down. I like your approach. I was "vectorizing" the image, which breaks it done into simple shapes...but your approach has a much more refined way of finding the colors. Very cool.

Im an artist trying the find my "thing". I sell work but still figuring it all out. Love to stay connected. Great work. Looking forward to the next painting.

Your portrait is facing the opposite way from mine...

keep an eye out for my process photos of this portrait toward the end of the month. I'm taking the manipulation of photos to an interesting (to me anyway) extreme!
